This is from my mother's decluttering.
It was purchased a long time ago, used very little, and has been stored in a cabinet.
This is a hardened steel tea mill (chausu) that can produce finely powdered matcha.

① Use commercially available gyokuro or sencha tea.
② Add green tea to the top of the millstone (can process from half a small spoon). Slowly turn it 15-20 times to make one serving (?? Fast rotation will degrade the taste).
③ Powder will collect in the lower tray (no sifting or sieving needed).
④ Tea has sterilizing properties, so daily cleaning is not necessary.
⑤ Disassembly and cleaning of the millstone is easy by turning the coarseness adjustment screw at the top.
